What it does
The drive side of the pedal is based on the DOD250 overdrive/preamp circuit, a design Ananashead modified specifically for bass. According to Guitar.com, those modifications "mean increased low frequencies and a clean JFET blend circuit placed at the front" of the pedal.1
The blend is the pedal's defining feature for bass players: a "Blend" knob sets the mix between the driven signal and the clean signal, which the maker's intent is to preserve low end while the overdrive is engaged. Alongside it, "Level" and "Gain" knobs control the output and drive levels, respectively.1
