The Flying SkullFuzz is a one-of-a-kind handmade fuzz pedal from Dr. No Effects, released on March 24th 2025. Only one was ever made, and the maker's product page now lists it as out of stock1. It belongs to "Dr. No's Analog Imaginarium", which the maker describes as "a place dedicated to the Imagination", a series of special single builds alongside the maker's regular fuzz range1.
A one-of-a-kind handmade SkullFuzz
Dr. No states plainly that "The Flying SkullFuzz is fully handmade." The maker announced it as another special single: "Dr. No finished another special 'one of' The Flying SkullFuzz"1. The enclosure carries flocking of a skull, base and wings, the sculpted look that marks the SkullFuzz family1. As a fuzz, it sits in the same territory as the maker's other SkullFuzz builds, such as the Art SkullFuzz and the Siamese Twin SkullFuzz, though those are made in series while the Flying SkullFuzz exists as a single unit1.
Circuit and series
The pedal uses the original SkullFuzz circuit, according to the maker's product page1. That places it at the root of a family that has since branched into many editions, from the Skull Fuzz Limited Edition to the 3rd Eye SkullFuzz versions. The maker describes its vintage-sound guitar effects as taking players "back in time"1.
Only one Flying SkullFuzz was made and it is listed out of stock. The listed price was €725.00 EUR with worldwide shipping included1.
Questions
How many Dr. No Flying SkullFuzz pedals were made?
Only one. Dr. No describes the Flying SkullFuzz as a special 'one of', released on March 24th 2025. The pedal is fully handmade and carries the original SkullFuzz circuit, so no second unit exists. Players looking for a SkullFuzz in a series build can look at related pedals such as the Art SkullFuzz or the Siamese Twin SkullFuzz.
Is the Flying SkullFuzz still available?
No. The maker's product page lists the Flying SkullFuzz as out of stock, and since only one unit was ever made, no further units are expected. Dr. No's Analog Imaginarium series includes other one-off and limited SkullFuzz builds, and the maker has released limited series such as the Art SkullFuzz return run for players seeking a similar pedal.
What circuit does the Flying SkullFuzz use?
The Flying SkullFuzz is built on the original SkullFuzz circuit, according to Dr. No Effects. That makes it a fuzz pedal, part of the maker's SkullFuzz family, presented here in a one-off handmade enclosure with flocking of a skull, base and wings as part of Dr. No's Analog Imaginarium series.
Does the price include shipping?
Yes. Dr. No Effects listed the Flying SkullFuzz at €725.00 with the price including worldwide shipping. The pedal is currently out of stock, so the listed price applied to the single unit that was offered.
