The maker announced it in February 2012 as a project for Eric Corton, writing: "My newest project for Eric Corton." Dr. No described the idea plainly: "This Ford got a new Fuzzz engine and is transformed into a very cool sounding guitar effect."1
What it does
As a fuzz, the pedal belongs to the same family as the rest of Dr. No's fuzz range, which runs from the SkullFuzz to the Turd Fuzz and the Octofuzz. What sets the sixtyfour Ford Falcon apart is that it was never a catalog pedal. It exists as a single handmade unit, built for a specific player, with the car-themed artwork and housing the maker showed in its announcement.1
Availability
Dr. No's announcement, dated February 4, 2012, said: "It will be soon available at a secret location yet to be announced."1 The pedal was not offered through the maker's regular product line, and no standard production run followed the announcement.
