The Fulltone OCD'Lux is a dual overdrive pedal from Fulltone that packs two independently controlled OCD circuits into one enclosure. Instead of choosing between the different eras of the OCD, the OCD'Lux gives you four of them at once: the original V1 voice, the OCD V2, the Custom Shop Germanium circuit, and an all-new RAW mode. Fulltone calls it "The ultimate OCD."1
Announced on 20 October 2026, it is priced at $299 and is currently a pre-order, with dealer availability expected in the near future2.
Two OCD overdrives in one pedal
The OCD'Lux's architecture is two independently controlled drive circuits, each with its own footswitch5. The left circuit carries the OCD V1 lineage with a voice selector between VTG and RAW; the right circuit carries the OCD V2 and Custom Shop Germanium circuits3.
How the two sides connect is up to you:
- Internal stacking (default): guitar into RIGHT IN, LEFT OUT to the amp. The right circuit feeds the left internally, so V2 or Germanium pushes VTG or RAW4.
- Parallel or custom routing: each circuit has its own input and output on the four top-mounted jacks, so you can run the two drives independently, split them to two amps, or insert another pedal between them4.
That flexibility is what separates the OCD'Lux from a single OCD. A player who wants a light V1-style drive stacked into a hotter V2 or Germanium voice can do it in one box, with one power supply, and still break the chain apart when a different order is needed354.
The controls
Each side has its own set of controls, so the two drives can be set completely independently3.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Volume | Output level for that circuit |
| Drive | Gain amount for that circuit |
| Tone | Treble roll-off for that circuit |
| HP/LP switch | Selects High Peak or Low Peak EQ4 |
| Voice selector | Left side: VTG or RAW. Right side: V2 or Germanium3 |
| Footswitches | Independent footswitch for each circuit4 |
The HP/LP switch is a holdover from the OCD line's history of two-voice operation, here given separate switches per side4. For comparison, the original OCD V2 shipped with volume, drive and tone controls only6.
The four voices
Fulltone positions the OCD'Lux as the whole OCD family in one pedal: "The original V1. OCD V2. Custom Shop Germanium. And now, RAW."7
| Voice | Circuit | Fulltone's description |
|---|---|---|
| VTG | Left, OCD V1 | "Open feel, touch sensitivity, and amp-like punch. The original voice!"4 |
| RAW | Left, all-new | "More aggressive. Less compressed. A fresh edge with an immediate, open feel."4 |
| V2 | Right | "The Class A JFET input lets you hear and feel the difference between picking softly and digging in. More sustain. More ringing overtones."3 |
| Germanium | Right, Custom Shop | "Hand-selected germanium diodes for its distinctive tube-like feel and wider dynamics."3 |
The RAW mode is the only voice not drawn from an existing OCD version. Fulltone suggests it may be the most fun OCD a player has used, describing it as more aggressive and less compressed than the other voices1.
The Germanium voice comes from the Custom Shop Germanium OCD line, which used hand-selected germanium diodes for a tube-like feel and wider dynamics3. On That Pedal Show's comparison demo of the OCD family, Dan and Mick walked through the V1.7, V2 and OCD Ge versions and demonstrated the V2 running at both 9 and 18 volts, a hint of the headroom differences a player can explore with the OCD'Lux's voltage range.
Power: 9 to 18V, 20mA
The OCD'Lux runs on 9 to 18V DC through a 2.1mm center-negative barrel connector, drawing 20mA3.
There is no battery option: the pedal takes its power solely through the 2.1mm DC barrel jack3.
Running an OCD at higher voltage has historically changed its character, which is why That Pedal Show demonstrated the V2 at both 9 and 18 volts in their comparison demo8.
History and the Limited First Edition
The OCD line has a long history of versions and limited editions. Guitar Pedal X's overdrive roundup traced the line from the V1.7 through the Candy Apple Red V2 to the Germanium Diode version9. In 2018, a CME Exclusive Limited Edition black OCD V2 reversed the original's white-and-black look for what MusicRadar called "an altogether stealthier appearance"10.
The OCD'Lux itself launched as a Limited First Edition, which Fulltone says is available while supplies last, framing it as "a piece of Fulltone history"4.
Fulltone's UK store lists the pedal at £227.00 GBP, while the US announcement price is $299 as a pre-order211.

Questions
Is the Fulltone OCD'Lux true bypass?
It offers both: an upgraded Fulltone Enhanced Bypass or standard True Bypass, selectable on the pedal4. Fulltone says the Enhanced Bypass is a beefed-up design built to help preserve tone and picking dynamics through the cables and pedals between guitar and amp7.
Can I run the two OCD'Lux circuits in parallel?
Yes. Each circuit has its own input and output among the four top-mounted jacks, so the two drives can be patched independently rather than in series4.
Where is the OCD'Lux made?
Fulltone lists the pedal as built in the USA3.
Can I put another pedal between the two OCD'Lux drives?
Yes. With separate inputs and outputs per circuit, the internal series connection can be broken and another pedal inserted between the right and left circuits4.
