HeadRush Shimmer Reverb

The HeadRush Shimmer Reverb is a shimmer reverb in stompbox form, made by HeadRush¹. Shimmer reverb is a reverb effect that adds an octave-up sheen to the reverberated signal, and it is one of the reverb types covered on the site's Reverb Pedals page.

What it does

HeadRush describes the pedal as its "Shimmer Reverb Model", a dedicated shimmer reverb stompbox in its Stompboxes range¹. The effect inside is a HeadRush original design rather than a licensed copy of another maker's circuit: on the HeadRush Pedalboard, the same effect appears as the SHIMMER model, listed as "Shimmer Reverb (Headrush Original)"².

Where it sits in HeadRush's range

HeadRush builds the Shimmer Reverb as part of its Stompboxes line of individual effects pedals¹. The company also makes the HeadRush AIR Reverb, another reverb pedal in the range, and the SHIMMER effect model also appears among the effects available on the HeadRush Pedalboard multi-effects unit².

The places the SHIMMER effect appears in HeadRush's lineup:

• As the Shimmer Reverb stompbox in the Stompboxes range¹
• As the SHIMMER effect model on the HeadRush Pedalboard²
