The Holy Island Audio Micro Mountain Mover is a compact fuzz pedal that combines the core character of a Ram's Head Muff with the added bloom of a Super-Fuzz, according to Guitar Pedal X's review. It is essentially the core of the larger, eight-control Mountain Mover Fuzz shrunk down to compact dimensions, so players who want that circuit in a smaller enclosure get it here.1
What it does
The pedal's controls are Tone/Filter, Gain, a Mids EQ with a Mid-Shift or Stock setting, and Master Level. The Mids EQ switch is the feature carried over from the Super-Fuzz side of its lineage: it lets the player choose between a stock mid response and a shifted mid response.1
| Control | Function |
|---|---|
| Tone/Filter | Tone shaping |
| Gain | Amount of fuzz drive |
| Mids EQ | Mid-Shift or Stock mid response |
| Master Level | Output volume |
Guitar Pedal X's Stefan Karlsson described the pedal as "a properly massive sounding fuzz - beautifully fierce and full of life - sounds fantastic!" He also noted that "it sound superb, and starts of fierce with even the Gain turned all the way down," meaning the pedal keeps its overall character even at the lowest gain settings.1
Availability and price
The pedal lists for £135, which Guitar Pedal X gave as roughly $180.1
As of October 2026, the Micro Mountain Mover is sold out. Guitar Pedal X reported that all four of the maker's compact pedals, including the Angel Teeth and the Spectral Fire, were sold out at that time.2
