JHS Pedals makes The Wanderer Dual Overdrive, a two-in-one overdrive pedal that combines the company's Morning Glory (Bluesbreaker-style) and NOTAKLÖN (Klon-style Klone) circuits in a single enclosure. Guitar Pedal X described the pairing as "essentially a Klon-Breaker": one channel of Klon-style gain, one of Bluesbreaker-style overdrive1. It went on sale in October 2026 at $299 on the JHS Webstore in the US, and at £299 at Andertons in the UK1.
The two channels
Each side of the pedal is a full version of its circuit, with its own controls and footswitch.
| Channel | Circuit style | Controls |
|---|---|---|
| NOTAKLÖN (left) | Klone, Klon-style | Volume, Gain, Treble, footswitch1 |
| Morning Glory (right) | Bluesbreaker-style | Volume, Drive, Tone, Gain Structure toggle, footswitch1 |
Each channel also carries a two-way Gain Structure toggle switch, which Guitar Pedal X described as "sort of Lower Gain / Higher Gain", marked -/+ on the pedal1. That gives each side a low-gain and a higher-gain voicing before you touch the drive control.
Routing and channel order
The Wanderer is wired so the two channels can be treated as independent pedals. There are separate inputs and outputs for each channel, so each side can sit in a different part of a pedalboard, fed by its own cable. If you would rather use it as one pedal in a single chain, two cables on the first and last ports run the channels in series1.
Which channel comes first in that series chain is set by an ORDER toggle switch, so the NOTAKLÖN can feed the Morning Glory or the Morning Glory can feed the NOTAKLÖN without repatching1.
What reviewers said
Guitar Pedal X's Stefan Karlsson, writing when the pedal was announced, summed up his view this way:
"It's very decent for sure, but I already have other very similar options."
Stefan Karlsson, Guitar Pedal X1
In the same piece he placed the Wanderer alongside other two-circuit drive pedals: the Beetronics Wannabee, the Ceriatone Horse Breaker, the Cornerstone Colosseum and, to some degree, the Keeley D&M Drive1. Players weighing the Wanderer against those alternatives are comparing it with pedals that likewise pair two drive voicings in one box.
The Wanderer sits in JHS's wider overdrive range, which runs from the 3 Series Screamer and The Bonsai to the Notadümblë; for the wider field, see the site's guide to overdrive pedals.

Questions
How much does the JHS Wanderer cost?
The Wanderer lists for $299 on the JHS Webstore in the United States. In the United Kingdom it is £299 at Andertons. Both figures were reported by Guitar Pedal X when the pedal was announced in October 2026.
What circuits are in the JHS Wanderer?
The Wanderer combines two JHS circuits in one enclosure: the Morning Glory, a Bluesbreaker-style overdrive, on one channel, and the NOTAKLÖN, a Klon-style Klone, on the other. Guitar Pedal X described the combination as essentially a Klon-Breaker.
Can I change which channel comes first on the JHS Wanderer?
Yes. An ORDER toggle switch sets which of the two channels comes first in the signal path, so you can run the NOTAKLÖN into the Morning Glory or the other way round without repatching cables.
Can the JHS Wanderer's two channels be used with separate cables?
Yes. Each channel has its own input and output jacks, so the two sides can be run as fully independent pedals placed anywhere on a board. If you prefer to use the pedal as a single unit in one chain, two cables on the first and last ports will do that instead.
What pedals has the JHS Wanderer been compared with?
Guitar Pedal X compared the Wanderer with the Beetronics Wannabee, the Ceriatone Horse Breaker, the Cornerstone Colosseum and, to some degree, the Keeley D&M Drive, all of which pair two drive-style circuits in one box.
