The Keeley Arlon Prince 4 Knob Compressor is a compressor pedal from Keeley Electronics with custom paint by artist Arlon Prince of Arloart.com. Keeley announced it as in stock on 8 June 2023, and described it as a limited edition1. For the effect itself, a compressor evens out the differences between loud and quiet notes, and you can read more about the category on the Compressor Pedals page.
Enclosure and availability
Keeley describes the pedal as being in the standard case size, so it carries the small footprint expected from the rest of the company's pedals1. That matters on a crowded board, where a low-profile enclosure leaves room for other effects. Because it is a limited edition, availability depends on what remains of the original run; Keeley's own announcement urged players to move quickly, saying "These are, of course, a limited edition, so get yours today!"1.
Keeley announced the Arlon Prince 4 Knob Compressor as a limited edition in June 2023. Limited runs of this kind are not part of the regular lineup, so the pedal may not appear in current dealer stock.
Keeley's compressor range
Keeley builds a family of compressors beyond this custom-finish pedal, including the Keeley 4 Knob Compressor, the Keeley Compressor Plus, the Keeley Compressor Mini, the Keeley GC-2 Limiting Amplifier, and the Keeley C4 Compressor in an Arlon Prince custom finish, which pairs the same artist's paintwork with a different circuit.
