The Little Noise FX Aaronel Fuzz is a fuzz pedal built in the Fuzz Face style, using BC108 silicon transistors in what Guitar Pedal X describes as a classic Type II '68/'69 style circuit1. It is also an art pedal: the transparent Lexan enclosure carries overlapping colorful discs inspired by the artist Aaronel deRoy Gruber, and the publication describes it as one whose aesthetic quality is as prominent as its output profile1.
Controls and practicality
The pedal carries just two controls, Volume and Fuzz, in the manner of the original Fuzz Face format1. Some Fuzz Face style pedals add a third bias knob, but Guitar Pedal X's Stefan Karlsson found the two-knob layout no loss here:
"While for a pedal that looks this good - I could happily forego the 3rd knob!"
Despite its art-pedal presentation, the pedal is practical to run: it comes with a battery option as well as standard pedal power1.
Price and availability
The Aaronel Fuzz sells for $180 from the Little Noise FX Reverb.com shop1. Players in the United Kingdom should note:
As of 24 August 2026 there is no shipping option to the UK, so the pedal cannot be ordered from there1.
Questions
Is the Little Noise FX Aaronel Fuzz based on a Fuzz Face?
Yes. Guitar Pedal X describes it as a classic Type II '68/'69 style Fuzz Face with BC108 silicon transistors, so it follows the two-knob Fuzz Face format with Volume and Fuzz controls rather than a modern multi-control fuzz.
Does the Aaronel Fuzz have a bias knob?
No. The pedal's two controls are Volume and Fuzz. Guitar Pedal X's Stefan Karlsson wrote that for a pedal that looks this good, he could happily forego the third knob, meaning a bias control some Fuzz Face style pedals carry.
Can the Aaronel Fuzz run on a battery?
Yes. Guitar Pedal X notes the pedal is pretty practical and comes with a battery option, alongside its standard power arrangement.
How much does the Little Noise FX Aaronel Fuzz cost?
The Aaronel Fuzz goes for $180 from the Little Noise FX Reverb.com shop, as reported by Guitar Pedal X on 24 August 2026.
Does Little Noise FX ship the Aaronel Fuzz to the UK?
Not currently. Guitar Pedal X reported on 24 August 2026 that there is no shipping option to the UK, which the writer noted put the pedal out of reach for him.
