The Mosky Green Screamer is an analog overdrive pedal built on the Ibanez Tube Screamer TS9 and TS808 circuit, the mid-humped, drive-and-level arrangement that has shaped most overdrive pedals since. What sets it apart from a straight Tube Screamer copy is a four-mode selection knob that switches the voicing between TS808, SD1, M and TS9, so one small pedal covers several classic overdrive characters12.
Controls and modes
The pedal carries the three controls a Tube Screamer player expects: LEVEL sets output volume, TONE shapes the treble, and DRIVE sets the amount of overdrive2. The fourth knob is the mode selector, with positions for TS808, SD1, M and TS92. The TS808 and TS9 positions give the two best-known Tube Screamer voicings, SD1 points toward the Boss SD-1 style of drive, and M is Mosky's own setting.
Where it sits among other Green Screamers
The name Green Screamer has been used by several makers for Tube Screamer-style pedals. Guitar World's Michael Astley-Brown described the original Green Screamer as one that "aimed to provide improved dynamic response over the traditional TS," and a later v2 version "adds a three-position Deep switch to enhance the low-end that can be lacking in those circuits"3. One Control's Persian Green Screamer is another take, in a "High Quality Aluminum Enclosure," which its designer Bjorn Juhl says "sounds vintage when placed before Granith Grey Booster" with humbucker or high-output pickups4.
Within Mosky's own range, the Green Screamer sits alongside the Mosky Mini Screamer Overdrive, a smaller single-voicing take on the same territory, and other Mosky drives such as the Mosky Golden Horse and MOSKY Green Drive Overdrive. For background on the circuits it draws on, see the site's pages on Overdrive Pedals and the Boss SD-1 vs Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer comparison.
Power
The Green Screamer runs on 9V DC, center negative, the standard center-negative pedal supply1. The circuit is analog1.

Questions
What circuits does the Mosky Green Screamer cover in its four modes?
The mode selection knob offers four voicings: TS808, SD1, M and TS9. The pedal is based on the Ibanez Tube Screamer TS9 and TS808 circuit, so the TS808 and TS9 settings revisit the classic Tube Screamer voicings, while the SD1 setting points toward the Boss SD-1 style of overdrive and M is Mosky's own mode.
What power does the Mosky Green Screamer need?
It runs on 9V DC with a center-negative plug, the standard pedalboard supply arrangement. The circuit is analog.
