The OKKO MOTÖRBASS is a bass distortion pedal from OKKO FX, listed by the maker as in stock1. It belongs to the wider family of bass pedals and distortion pedals.
What it does
The pedal keeps its control layout to one knob. The maker describes it plainly: "FASTER controls the gain from almost clean to full blast."1 That single control covers the pedal's whole range, so a player moves from a nearly clean tone into full distortion with one turn, without juggling multiple gain stages or a separate blend control.
"FASTER controls the gain from almost clean to full blast."
For a bass player, that means the MOTÖRBASS is operated by feel rather than by preset: set FASTER where the breakup starts, and back it off for cleaner passages1.
