The RhPf Electronics Regista is a fully analog parametric EQ pedal, released in July 2026, that puts a recording console's mid section on the floor. Its circuit is drawn from the mid sections of the Amek Mozart MZ15-RN console EQ: the Swiss team behind it merged those sections into a single continuous sweep, extended the ranges, and rebuilt the whole thing as a stompbox. Delicious Audio's Brent P. Gladless described it as "A parametric EQ that sounds like a console, fits on your board"1.

It sits in the equalization pedals lane, alongside boost and preamp pedals that also shape tone rather than add time-based effects.

Controls

The Regista keeps the console approach: one continuously sweepable band with controls for where it sits, how wide it acts, and how much it cuts or boosts1.

ControlWhat it does
ZoneSweeps the frequency from 100 Hz to 10 kHz, six octaves of control1
ShapeGoes from broad curves to surgical notches1
Drive±18 dB boost or cut1
LevelAdds another ±18 dB of makeup gain1

The Zone sweep covers everything from low-mid weight to upper bite on one knob, and Shape sets how focused that action is: wide for broad tonal shaping, narrow for hunting a single resonance. Drive sets the amount of boost or cut, and Level restores or adds level on top, with another ±18 dB of range1.

What it sounds like

Delicious Audio's write-up describes a pedal that works the guitar rather than coloring it: "Play with it, and the guitar doesn't sound processed, it just sits right. Narrow the Shape, and the details pop: reson..."1. In other words, at wide Shape settings it is a transparent tonal shaper, and as you narrow the curve, resonances, harmonics, low-mid weight and upper bite come into focus, which is the classic use for a parametric mid section.

Availability

The Regista was announced as out now from rhpfelectronics.com, at $339 USD1. A demo video by Philip Czarnecki exists1.

Questions

Is the RhPf Regista true bypass?

Yes. Delicious Audio reports the Regista is true bypass, so when the pedal is off your guitar signal passes through without the EQ circuit loading it. The pedal runs on 9V to 18V DC power and is fully analog from input to output.

What console EQ is the RhPf Regista based on?

The Regista takes its circuit from the mid sections of the Amek Mozart MZ15-RN console EQ. According to Delicious Audio, the Swiss team behind it merged the Mozart's mid sections into a single continuous sweep, extended the ranges, and rebuilt the whole thing as a fully analog stompbox.

Is the RhPf Regista analog or digital?

The Regista is fully analog. Delicious Audio describes it as an all analog, all original circuit, built as a stompbox version of a console parametric mid section rather than a digital model of one.

What frequency range does the Regista cover?

The Zone control sweeps the center frequency from 100 Hz to 10 kHz, which Delicious Audio describes as six octaves of real control. That spans low-mid weight through upper bite on a single continuous sweep.

What does the Shape control do on the Regista?

Shape sets how broad or narrow the EQ curve is. Delicious Audio says it goes from broad curves to surgical notches, so you can use it for gentle tonal shaping or to zoom in on a single problem resonance.

How much does the RhPf Regista cost?

The Regista lists at $339 USD, as reported by Delicious Audio at its July 2026 release. It is available from rhpfelectronics.com.
