The SHOKR KRUSH Fuzz-Verb is a combination fuzz and reverb pedal aimed at shoegaze-style playing, made by SHOKR Pedals. It was the brand's launch pedal, reported by Guitar Pedal X on 30 October 2025, with a Muff-style fuzz on one side and a saturating PT2399 Belton Brick reverb on the other1.
The two sides
The fuzz side uses four 2N5089 transistors and takes its voicing from the Green Russian Muff and the DBA Fuzz War. Guitar Pedal X's Stefan Karlsson described that voicing as "pretty 'Krushing' and searing"1. The reverb side is built around a PT2399 Belton Brick, and it carries an extra control that most reverb pedals do not: an Overdrive knob. Karlsson wrote that "it is imbued with the additional 'Overdrive' control - which adds saturation and gritty texture to the reverb"1.
Controls and routing
The pedal has separate footswitches for the fuzz and reverb sides, so each can be used on its own or together1.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Fuzz/Sustain | Fuzz sustain |
| Tone | Fuzz tone |
| Volume | Output level |
| Dry>Wet | Reverb blend |
| Overdrive | Adds saturation and gritty texture to the reverb1 |
One routing detail matters for shoegaze players: the signal order is fixed. Karlsson noted that "while it doesn't give you the ability to run Reverb into Fuzz - as is often popular for that genre," and that "The sides cannot be reordered, but create complex shoegazer textures"1. If reverb-into-fuzz is central to your sound, this pedal runs fuzz into reverb only.
What reviewers said
Guitar Pedal X's coverage is the launch report, and its verdict on the brand's first circuit was positive1:
"This a very strong first release from said SHOKR brand!"
Karlsson characterized the two sides as "incredibly compatible and complementary" with each enhancing the output of the other overall1.
