Power9V DC center negative, 100mA1

The Sketchy Sounds PANTS! is an analog fuzz pedal built as a clone of the Zvex Effects Woolly Mammoth. RockBoard's PedalPedia describes its character in plain terms: "This pedal is big and dirty and hairy like a tiger running after its prey"1.

What it does

The Woolly Mammoth circuit that PANTS! is based on is known as a bass fuzz, and Sketchy Sounds keeps that intent. according to RockBoard's PedalPedia, "This circuit is designed to preserve the low frequencies needed for your bass, but it's also a favorite for guitar"1. That makes it a fuzz that a bassist can run without losing the bottom of the sound, while guitar players get the same Woolly Mammoth-style fuzz character.

Because it is an analog circuit, it runs on a standard 9V DC center-negative supply, drawing 100mA1. That current draw is higher than many simple fuzz pedals, so a low-output daisy-chain supply may not be enough on its own.

RockBoard's PedalPedia lists a 100mA current draw1, which is worth checking against your power supply if you plan to share it with other pedals.
