The TC Electronic Vintage Comp is a compressor pedal. In an independent review, ovnilab.com's Cyrus Joaquin Heiduska describes it as a copy of the T-Rex Comp-Nova: "This pedal is a copy of the T-Rex Comp-Nova"1. For a player comparing the two, that makes the T-Rex pedal the original design and the Vintage Comp the TC Electronic version of it.
What reviewers said
The reviewer's verdict is direct, and it favors the original:
"So I strongly encourage you to buy the T-Rex version of this pedal instead"
That recommendation is the clearest published view on this pedal, and it points a player who wants this circuit toward the T-Rex Comp-Nova rather than the TC Electronic version1.
The published review of this pedal recommends the T-Rex Comp-Nova over the TC Electronic version1.
