Warm Audio's Foxy-style fuzz/octave Black Keys collaboration is a fuzz and octave-up pedal made as a collaboration between The Black Keys and Warm Audio. Warm Audio describes it as a pedalboard-friendly reimagination of its vintage-inspired '70s Foxy-style fuzz and octave pedal, a circuit known for searing saturation and octave-up solo magic1. It sits in the company's fuzz line alongside the Warm Audio Foxy Tone Box and the Warm Audio Peach Fuzz, another Black Keys take on the same circuit1.
What it does
The pedal delivers the classic Foxy-style combination of saturated fuzz with an octave-up voice for solos. Warm Audio customized the circuit with a momentary/latching octave-up hold switch, making it easy to kick in soaring octave tones for riffs, solos, and creative studio moments1. The switch can be held for a short octave burst or set to latch, so the octave stays on until pressed again.
The Black Keys edition
This version is a limited edition, covered in thick flocked velvet in a special peach color to celebrate the 2026 Black Keys release, Peaches!1. Warm Audio released it as part of its compact MOD series in 2026, alongside the Black Keys' Dan Auerbach signature Peach Fuzz1.
