Warm Audio Tone Bender fuzz pedal

Warm Audio's take on the Tone Bender is the Warm Bender, a Tone Bender fuzz pedal carrying a list price of $199 street¹.

What it does

Germanium fuzz behaves differently from the silicon fuzz in most modern pedals: it responds strongly to guitar volume and pickup character, which is why the Tone Bender family has stayed in use for touch-sensitive, dynamic playing. The NOS germanium transistors are the part Warm Audio points to as the heart of the circuit².

Price and availability

The pedal's list price in the US is $199 street¹.

How it compares to other Tone Bender pedals

The Tone Bender circuit has a long line of dedicated versions, and the Warm Bender's three-in-one approach is unusual among them¹:

Where the BLAMMO! and Tone City pedals each commit to one voicing, the Warm Bender's selectable circuits are its distinguishing feature¹.

Warm Audio also builds other fuzzes on classic British and American designs, including the Foxy Tone Box and the Black Keys Peach Fuzz collaboration.
