The Prime is a floorboard unit in a road-ready steel chassis with an integrated expression pedal, designed for touring, studio sessions and live performance². Guitar World's announcement described it as including "an expression pedal, plus rotary knobs" among its controls³.

HeadRush Pedalboard and Gigboard

The HeadRush Pedalboard is a pedalboard-format effects unit with a built-in expression pedal with toe switch, 67 effects, 50 amp models, 15 cabinets with 10 microphone selections, and 300 included impulse responses with loading of custom IR WAV files⁴. It has an instrument input for guitars and basses plus a socket for an expression pedal, and a secondary 1/4" TRS expression input for sweep only⁵⁴. Its expression FX model count is 11⁵. The Pedalboard began shipping worldwide in July 2017 with its touchscreen interface⁶.

The Gigboard is a road-ready floorboard guitar FX processor⁷ with a 7-inch touch display and a guitarist-centric interface for creating and editing rigs by touch, swipe and drag-and-drop⁸. It has a 1/4-inch instrument input for guitars and basses, a 1/8-inch auxiliary input, and two pedal sockets, one for an expression pedal and one for a switch⁸, plus two 1/4-inch inputs for an external expression pedal⁸.

HeadRush Expression Pedal

The HeadRush Expression Pedal is an expression pedal made by HeadRush⁹. Its features include:

• Premium griptape surface that grabs your foot and prevents slipping¹⁰
• Custom linear 10k ohm potentiometer for ultra-accurate expression¹⁰
• Easily adjustable tension using a standard hex key wrench, included¹⁰⁹
• 1/4" (6.35mm) TRS expression output that connects to any HeadRush product with an expression pedal input¹⁰
• Built-in momentary toe switch with a 1/4" (6.35mm) TS output for any HeadRush product with a toe switch input¹⁰

It was made exclusively for the HeadRush Pedalboard, Looperboard and Gigboard¹⁰. For Gigboard users, connecting it preserves the Gigboard's compact form factor while providing the same convenience as the Pedalboard's built-in expression pedal¹⁰.

Expression pedals in general work with a range of gear, though the HeadRush unit is built specifically for HeadRush products¹⁰.
