Chase Bliss, ZVEX Launch the Collaborative Bliss Factory Leave a comment

Acclaimed boutique stompbox brands Chase Bliss Audio and ZVEX Effects have joined forces for a collaborative pedal named the Bliss Factory.

As its name implies, the Bliss Factory is a Chase-Bliss-ified variant of ZVEX’s iconic Fuzz Factory. The unit comes in a Chase Bliss Audio-style chassis, consisting of similar dials along with a secondary footswitch and a multitude of extra control inputs.

The Bliss Factory carries Volume, Gate (Ramp), Comp, Drive, Stab, and LPF knobs, as well as a trio of toggle switches for setting the character of the filter, the behavior of the auxiliary footswitch/midi input, and the beefiness of the sound.

As with other Chase Bliss Audio stompboxes, each setting can be ramped, stored in presets, and controlled via an expression pedal. As the Bliss Factory’s listing states, “We may have finally caught bliss.”

Talking about its The Pedal Movie initiative, Reverb noted: “With the launch of our new trailer this week, we’ve partnered with four of the legendary pedal builders featured in the movie to offer a pair of exclusive pedal collaborations.”

Chase Bliss Audio founder Joel Korte used to work as a ZVEX engineer before building his company in 2013, debuting with the Warped Vinyl.

The Bliss Factory lists for $399.
