The Lesuria is an overdrive pedal from the Italian maker Dophix. In a demo video, it was described as sitting next to the Dante in the range but with a more modern character: "The Lesuria is like the Dante, but it's a little more modern, so it's a little bit saturated"1. The same video gives a US list price of 299.99 USD1.
What it does to your sound
The pedal's voice is described as fuller down low than a typical overdrive. In the NAMM demo, the presenters said the "Lesuria overdrive is richer in the bass frequencies"1. They described its range in two halves: at low gain settings it behaves like a clean tone with more harmonics added, and as the gain comes up it moves into what they called a soft distortion1. That puts it in the same family as other overdrive pedals but with a warmer, more saturated edge than a Tube Screamer-style circuit like the Dante.
Where it sits in the Dophix range
Players comparing the Lesuria within the Dophix line will find the Dante positioned as the more traditional of the two overdrives, with the Lesuria as the more modern and saturated option1. The brand also makes the Lussuria and the Michelangelo Overdrive Plus, both overdrives in their own right.
