The Flower Pedals Lupine Dual Fuzz is a dual fuzz pedal that puts two distinct fuzz circuits in a single compact 125B enclosure: an analog octave-up fuzz on the Purple side and a JFET fuzz/overdrive on the Cream side. Both circuits are analog, and Flower Pedals says both sound great with guitar and bass. The pedal lists at $199.00 USD as of the maker's product page dated 26 October 20261.
What it does
The Purple channel is an updated version of the company's earlier Lupine Analog Octave Up pedal, an analog octave-up fuzz. The Cream channel, on the left, is a JFET-based fuzz. This version adds a Gain control, which Flower Pedals notes is new here12.
Each channel has its own footswitch and its own input and output. That means the two fuzzes can be routed through different effects on the way through a board before their signals meet again, which makes the Lupine more flexible than a typical two-in-one fuzz2.
Delicious Audio's review found that the two circuits work well as a pair, noting that "The two fuzzes integrate each other very well when used together"2.
Modes and footswitches
The Lupine runs as two independent fuzzes by default, one footswitch per channel. Flower Pedals also provides a Single Fuzz mode: hold both footswitches at startup and the pedal behaves as one fuzz, where the left footswitch bypasses the entire pedal and the right footswitch toggles the octave circuit on and off1.
- Dual mode: two independent fuzz circuits, separate footswitches and separate in/outs per channel2
- Single Fuzz mode: hold both footswitches at startup; left switch bypasses the whole pedal, right switch toggles the octave circuit1
Background
Delicious Audio reported the Lupine's launch on 30 October 2023, describing it as two fuzzes with separate footswitches and in/outs, and noting the wider arrival of dual-channel and stereo stompboxes. Paolo De Gregorio's verdict was that the two fuzzes integrate each other very well when used together2.
Players who want a single-channel version of the octave side can look at the Purple channel on its own, and Flower Pedals also makes the Geranium Germanium Drive for a different take on dirt. For the wider field, see the site's pages on Fuzz Pedals, Octave & Pitch Pedals and Overdrive Pedals.

Questions
Can the two fuzz channels be used separately?
Yes. Each fuzz has its own footswitch and its own input and output, so the two circuits can be routed through different effects before meeting again. The maker also provides a Single Fuzz mode, entered by holding both footswitches at startup, which turns the Lupine into one pedal where the left footswitch bypasses everything and the right toggles the octave circuit.
Does the Lupine work with bass?
Flower Pedals says both circuits sound great with guitar and bass, so the pedal is aimed at players of either instrument. The two circuits are an analog octave-up fuzz and a JFET-based fuzz, both analog designs.
