The Recovery Effects DELAY REVERB 01 is a compact, stereo delay and reverb unit that operates at line level, sold as a limited edition pocket-sized effect. Recovery Effects positions it as a way of "allowing you to effortlessly enhance the depth and dimension of your monosynth, Rhodes, Prophet, or any other audio source," so it is aimed as much at keyboards and desktop synths as at guitar1.
What it does and how it connects
The unit combines two effects in one small box: a delay with 1 second of delay time and a large hall reverb1. Because it runs at line level, it sits naturally in a synth rig, a mixing setup or an effects loop rather than straight in front of a guitar amp, though the maker's wording covers "any other audio source"1.
Connections are on 3.5mm jacks rather than the quarter-inch plugs common on pedalboards1:
The DELAY REVERB 01 is powered by a standard 9vdc negative tip power supply, and that supply is sold separately1. Plan for a matching adapter or a power supply output on the board.
Price and availability
The maker's page lists the DELAY REVERB 01 at £114.00 GBP as of 26 October 20261. It is a limited edition and is currently unavailable; the page offers a "Notify when product available" restock notification for players who want to hear when it returns1.
A limited edition that may grow into a bigger device
Recovery Effects frames the DELAY REVERB 01 as a first step rather than a final form. On the maker's own page: "the DELAY REVERB 01 may eventually become part of a bigger device down the road, but we couldn't resist offering it as a" limited edition pocket effect1. The maker draws a direct line to its own history: "Like the Instrument 01 that morphed into The Mystic desktop synth, the DELAY REVERB 01 may eventually become part of a b[igger device]"1.
That precedent is the Recovery Effects Instrument 01 Pocket Synth, itself a limited edition pocket unit, also powered by a standard 9vdc negative tip supply sold separately, and also offered in Black and Red color options2.
How it compares
Against other compact delays, the headline difference is delay length. The Donner Embark 01 Echo Delay offers up to approximately 600 ms of delay3, while the DELAY REVERB 01 gives 1 second of delay time1. The DELAY REVERB 01 also adds reverb, where the Embark 01 is a delay on its own. For other approaches to the effect type, see Delay Pedals and Reverb Pedals.

Questions
Does the Recovery Effects DELAY REVERB 01 come with a power supply?
No. Recovery Effects says the DELAY REVERB 01 is powered by a standard 9vdc negative tip power supply, and that supply is sold separately. Players will need to provide their own 9 volt DC, negative tip adapter or a pedalboard power supply output that matches.
What cables does the DELAY REVERB 01 need for stereo?
Stereo use requires 3.5mm TRS cables, according to the maker. For mono use, the unit takes 3.5mm mono cables. Because the connections are 3.5mm rather than the quarter-inch jacks most guitarists use, adapters or matching cables are part of planning a setup with this unit.
How long is the delay time on the DELAY REVERB 01?
The DELAY REVERB 01 offers 1 second of delay time, paired with what Recovery Effects describes as a large hall reverb. That is longer than some compact delays: the Donner Embark 01 Echo Delay, for comparison, reaches up to approximately 600 ms.
What colors does the DELAY REVERB 01 come in?
The maker's product page lists Red and Black color options for the DELAY REVERB 01.
Is the DELAY REVERB 01 still available?
It is a limited edition and is currently unavailable. The maker's page offers a restock notification, so players interested in one can sign up to be told when it returns.
