The Zoom 3000B is a bass multi-effects unit, a single processor that houses a range of bass effects in one box rather than a chain of separate pedals. It is made by Zoom, a Japanese company whose bass line sits under its multi-effects category, alongside compact units such as the Zoom B1 Four, Zoom B1X Four and Zoom B1on.1
What it does
As a bass multi-effects unit, the 3000B belongs to the broader family of multi-effects pedals built for bass: one unit covering the effect types a bass player might otherwise spread across several pedals, from compression and equalization to delay and chorus.1
Zoom also supports its multi-effects products with companion software. The maker's product pages point players to free editions of bundled software for Zoom products, which is how effects and patches are managed and expanded on the connected unit.2
Zoom's bundled software is offered as free editions for Zoom products, per the maker's product page.2
