ZOOM G1K

The ZOOM G1K is a multi-effects pedal from Zoom, a floor unit that puts multiple guitar effects in one box. It was shown in a demo video published on YouTube in January 2023 by the channel Andrew Martin, where the unit was on consignment at Great Northwest Music¹.

What it does

As a multi-effects pedal, the G1K combines several guitar effects in a single unit rather than requiring separate pedals for each sound¹. In the demo, Andrew Martin showed that the unit allows deep editing of sound combinations, so a player can go beyond the preset patches and shape the effects themselves¹.

The demo was played through a Squier Telecaster fitted with a humbucking pickup in the front position¹. On the unit's condition, Martin reported that "everything seems to be working fully functionally"¹.

A summary of what the demo establishes:

• Type: multi-effects pedal¹
• Editing: deep editing of sound combinations is available¹
• Condition in the demo: fully functional¹
• Demo guitar: Squier Telecaster with a humbucking pickup in the front¹
• Where it was seen: on consignment at Great Northwest Music¹
