Noel Gallagher

Noel Gallagher, guitarist and songwriter with Oasis and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, has kept a pedalboard that mixes familiar stompboxes with a few rare and discontinued pieces¹². In July 2025 he posted photos of his pedalboard and backline for the Oasis reunion tour, giving a full look at what he was playing through².

His connection to effects makers runs long. ZVEX lists him among its artists, saying he uses various ZVEX pedals, notably the Lo-Fi Loop Junky³. Rainger FX carries him on its artist page with the Bleep and the Deep Space Pulsar¹, and Strymon has listed him among its users⁴.

The Oasis reunion tour board

The board Gallagher shared in July 2025 included some familiar go-to stompboxes along with a few that are now discontinued or rare². GuitarPlayer's rundown of the photos listed the following²:

That is a lot of delay in one place, with four dedicated delay units plus the RV-3's combined reverb and delay, alongside a compressor, a wah, a boost and a distortion box.

The Boss Digital Delay on the board may be his DD-5, the same pedal spotted on his board at Knebworth in 1996². The DD-5 is a digital delay made by Boss, part of a line Pedal of the Day called "arguably one of the most successful lines ever produced"⁵⁶.

One piece of the board carries a story. As Gallagher revealed on That Pedal Show in 2023, the Pete Cornish SS-2 once belonged to Paul Stacey, the guitarist and producer who has worked with Oasis and Gallagher's High Flying Birds².

ZVEX pedals and the Lo-Fi Loop Junky

ZVEX says Gallagher uses various of its pedals, notably the Lo-Fi Loop Junky³. The Lo-Fi Loop Junky is an all-analog looper and effects pedal⁷. ZVEX hand paints the enclosures, and notes that colors and details may vary; hand painted pedals carry a lifetime warranty⁸.

Guitar.com's Samuel Roberts called it "arguably the best vintage-styled pedal on the market"⁹.

On the reunion board, the ZVEX pedals carried legends assigning each one to a song, from top to bottom: "D'You Know What I Mean?", "Champagne Supernova" and "Rock 'n' Roll Star / Bring It on Down"².

Rainger FX and Strymon

Rainger FX's artist page for Gallagher lists two of its pedals, the Bleep and the Deep Space Pulsar¹. Strymon has listed Gallagher, under Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, among the guitarists who use its pedals⁴, and the reunion board carried two Strymon delay units, the El Capistan and the Timeline².
