Aclam has released The Woman Tone, an overdrive pedal built to reproduce Eric Clapton's Cream-era sound, Delicious Audio reported on June 2, 2023. The pedal combines a Plexi-style overdrive with a humbucker pickup simulator, the outlet wrote¹.

Aclam's manual describes a custom all-analog pickup simulation circuit intended to reproduce the tonal qualities of a vintage Gibson P.A.F humbucker, paired with a Plexi-style overdrive². The pedal has a Gain control, a Volume control, a Woman Mode switch and a Woman Mode tone knob that Aclam says behaves like a guitar's tone control, reducing treble as it is turned counterclockwise². A second footswitch engages the Woman Tone circuit; Aclam says it slightly increases gain when engaged so saturation does not drop as the tone is rolled off, and enhances the low end². Delicious Audio described the second footswitch as bypassing the woman tone control for two different tonal voicings¹.

The artwork is by Marijke Koger, formerly of the Dutch art collective The Fool, who painted Clapton's "The Fool" Gibson SG²¹. Aclam's manual states Cream's final show was The Farewell Concert at the Royal Albert Hall, filmed on November 26, 1968².

The manual lists the reference as AP0040²; the Aclam store page lists AP0120³. The manual gives dimensions of 13,7 x 8,8 x 5,5 cm²; the store page gives 13.6 x 8.7 x 5.5 cm³. The store page showed the pedal out of stock, with an email notification field in place of a purchase option, and gave no price³.
