Anasounds has introduced the Full Story, a modular fuzz pedal built around swappable tone cards, Guitar.com reported on June 10, 2022¹. Guitar World reported the announcement on June 13².

The pedal holds two tone cards at a time, inserted through a keyed connector so they cannot be installed backwards¹. The seven cards are each modeled after a different version of the Big Muff: the Triangle, Ram's Head, Pi, Op-Amp, Civil War, Green Russian and Black Russian¹. Guitar World lists the set as the Triangle, Ram's Head, Black and Red, Op Amp, Civil War, Green Russian and Black Russian, and reports that Anasounds says it hopes to make more cards available in due course².

Each card slot has its own footswitch, and the two fuzzes run in series when both are engaged¹. The primary fuzz uses the larger knobs and the secondary fuzz the smaller backlit knobs, with independent volume, tone and gain controls for each¹. Guitar World names the controls as Out, Tone and Fuzz, with a lower row of mini-dials for the secondary circuit². The rightmost footswitch engages a germanium treble booster with four frequency response modes; the boost module is also swappable, and Anasounds hints an upgrade module may follow¹. Guitar World describes the boost as Dallas Rangemaster-style². The input stage includes a pickup simulator, which Anasounds says keeps impedance issues from buffered pedals placed before it from affecting sensitive parts of the circuit such as the germanium boost¹.

The first run is a Collectors Edition limited to 250 units, including all seven tone cards and a bespoke box to keep them in¹. It was available to preorder at announcement and is set to ship in August¹. Guitar World reported it was sold out when ordering direct from the manufacturer, with Anasounds saying third-party retailers would have some stock².
