Anasounds opened preorders for the Utopia Mk2, a compact delay pedal, on September 11, 2025. The maker says the pedals are already in production and estimates a maximum delivery date of end of September 20251.
The Mk2 returns to the compact format of the original Utopia, which Anasounds says first came out ten years ago, after the larger Utopia Deluxe and Dystopia1. It uses one PT2399 chip rather than the Deluxe's two, so the maker says the maximum delay time is a little shorter1. Guitar Pedal X lists the time control at 80ms to 1000ms2. The pedal adds a fourth knob, a Tone control that Guitar Pedal X describes as a Tilt EQ pivoting around 540Hz2; Anasounds says the EQ cuts treble and boosts bass on one side or boosts treble and cuts bass on the other1. Guitar Pedal X lists the controls as Feedback, Time, Modulation Type (Tape, Chorus or Vibrato), Mix and Tone2.
Modulation is set by a three-way switch on the front, with a vintage tape echo mode and a mode set by an internal trimpot1. A switch inside the enclosure selects True Bypass or Trails Bypass1. Anasounds gives dimensions of 14 x 7 x 5 cm and lists Bamboo and a White limited edition1.
Anasounds lists the price as 229,00 € through 249,00 €1.
