Becos FX launches CompIQ Pro Yuna compressor pedal

Becos FX introduced the CompIQ Pro Yuna, a compressor for guitar and bass, Guitar Pedal X reported on October 8, 2025. The site described it as "a soft-knee Blackmer VCA Studio style Compressor" and "essentially delivers a slightly more streamlined take on the CompIQ Pro Stella"¹.

The Yuna has eight controls: Comp, which combines ratio and threshold; Gain, from 0dB to +26dB; a Wet>Dry mix; Timing, which combines attack and release; Speed, fast or slow; X-EQ tilt; EQ Pivot, high or low; and SCF, a side chain filter with boost, cut and a point below 90Hz¹. Feed-forward or feed-back operation, the RMS reference level (-10dBu, -20dBu or -30dBu) and the DITOS ground lift are set by internal jumpers, and voicing (Flat, Spark, Tight or Punch) is set by internal DIP switches¹.

The circuit is fully analog with true bypass, a true RMS-level detector and an 8-LED gain reduction meter, and it runs on a 9V battery or 9-12V DC¹. The optional DITOS board adds a transformer-coupled balanced output with 10KΩ impedance and replaces battery operation¹. Guitar Pedal X gives dimensions of 61mm by 102mm by 51mm and a weight of 220 grams, or 245 grams with DITOS, and a three-year warranty¹. The pedal is hand-assembled in Vienna, Austria¹.
