Beetronics released the Bee Bee Dee, an analog delay built around bucket-brigade chips with a digital control layer, the maker announced. Guitar Pedal X reported on September 24, 2025 that the pedal followed 18 months of development¹.

The pedal uses two bucket brigade chips for its analog path, with what Beetronics calls "a smart control system, a digital engine that lets you bend time, shift pitch, and move your sound in ways no vintage circuit ever could"². It offers 600ms of clean analog delay, which Beetronics says tap tempo can stretch to 2 seconds². It has buffered bypass with trails and draws 200mA². Guitar Pedal X describes it as mono, with low-pass, neutral and high-pass tone positions¹.

The three delay modes are Classic, Lo-Fi and Pitch². In Classic, DEPTH sets modulation depth and ACTIVITY sets its speed². In Lo-Fi, DEPTH sets delay time warble while tone modulates from bright to dark, and ACTIVITY sets how often both move². In Pitch, DEPTH selects between 9 pitch options including 2 note pitches and a random, and ACTIVITY selects the subdivision, synced to the delay time². A performance footswitch can be set to 2x, Tap Tempo or Mod². The Tone knob blends one low-pass and one high-pass signal².

Guitar Pedal X listed the standard model at $309 and a custom edition at $409 on the Beetronics webstore, with European distribution expected within a few weeks¹. Beetronics' own product pages for the Pink Violet and Dark limited editions showed both as sold out, priced in pounds²³. A later Gearnews article gave a $299 figure for the Bee Bee Dee⁴.

Guitar Pedal X's Stefan Karlsson wrote that he would have preferred a stereo output version, and that the pedal offers "about the best bang for your buck on the Analog Delay front"¹.
