Beetronics released the Seabee Lite, a stripped-down version of its Seabee Harmochorus, with coverage appearing on April 21, 20261. The pedal keeps the original's fully analog bucket-brigade chorus circuit but reduces the control set to labeled surface functions12.
Delicious Audio describes the Lite as having three modes, six knobs, two toggles and two footswitches, against the original's 16 modes and secondary functions1. Guitar Pedal X lists the controls as Feedback, Rate and Depth, plus three toggles: Filter (BP/Flat/HP), Mode (Flangee/Classic/Wobblee) and Mix (Chorus 50%/Vibee 100%)2. The left footswitch taps tempo and, held, ramps the Rate; the right footswitch bypasses and, held, ramps to maximum Depth; pressing both scrolls through 4 banks of 4 presets2. Delicious Audio describes the three modes as Classic, an 80s rack-style chorus; Flangee, which adds heavy feedback; and Wobblee, which introduces tape-style drift1.
Connections are MIDI/EXP, a TS mono input, right and left outputs, and 9V DC at 250mA2. Delicious Audio also lists tap tempo, 16 presets, MIDI, stereo outs and an expression input1. The enclosure keeps the hexagonal beehive shape and comes in Cream or Pink12.
The two outlets give different prices. Delicious Audio lists $3291; Guitar Pedal X lists $249 on the Beetronics webstore and puts the original Harmochorus at $3492.
"The Lite Edition of SeaBee comes in two variations named Pink and Cream"
Guitar Pedal X's Stefan Karlsson wrote that he owns the original Harmochorus but found it "somewhat complicated to use," and called the Lite "a fantastic take - which carries most everything which made the original great"2.
