UK builder Buzzing Bugs debuted the BB04 Full Range Drive, a saturated, non-transparent overdrive inspired by two unnamed stompboxes, Guitar World reported on March 8, 2024¹. Guitar Pedal X published a review the day before, calling it "a unique overdrive with Blues Breaker and Blues Driver-style profiles"².

The pedal has four controls: Volume, Gain, Tone and a Body (Phat) switch². Guitar Pedal X writes that Tone extends highs and Body boosts lower mids, and that four opamp gain stages increase the gain range². With Body off, the reviewer describes a lighter, smoother tone reminiscent of the Blues Breaker genre; with it on, he places the pedal in Keeley Phat-modded Blues Driver territory². Guitar World reports the Body switch shifts EQ parameters to offer thick and thin variants of the output, with what the maker describes as a "perceived gain and volume boost when engaged"¹. The reviewer's suggested settings are Volume at 3 o'clock, Gain at 10 o'clock and Tone at maximum².

Guitar World lists true bypass switching, top-mounted jacks, a die cast enclosure and standard 9V power¹. Guitar Pedal X notes milled knobs, soft-click Gørva Design footswitches and dual-pass UV-printing². The pedal is hand-built in Cornwall¹.

Guitar Pedal X says the pedal is available for orders from the Buzzing Bugs Audio Devices Webstore². Guitar World gives the price as about $165, available directly from the maker¹. Guitar World reports Buzzing Bugs was founded in 2019 by Daniel Goldberg and launched its first production model, the BB01 Fuzz Pre-Amp, in 2023¹.
