Carl Martin announces Honey Comp parallel compressor pedal

Carl Martin announced the Honey Comp on April 26, 2022, a compressor pedal that the company describes as an upgrade to its Comp Limiter12. The Honey Comp is a parallel compressor that, according to MusicRadar, promises studio sheen while preserving dynamics1.
The pedal has three knobs. Comp sets the amount of compression applied to the signal, Level adjusts the output after compression to compensate for volume loss, and Dry controls the wet/dry mix of compressed and uncompressed signals1. Guitar.com describes parallel processing as taking a heavily compressed signal and adding a clean signal on top, which it says gives the guitar three-dimensionality and helps it cut through a mix2. Delicious Audio reports that the Threshold and Response controls of the earlier Comp Limiter were removed and automated, leaving the Comp and Level knobs3.
The Honey Comp uses a 9V DC power supply with an internal converter that runs the circuit at 12V, which Carl Martin says maintains the same quality and headroom as the Comp Limiter12. Delicious Audio gives the supply requirement as 9V DC at 200mA and describes the internal operating voltage as plus and minus 12V3. The enclosure is the same compact gray anodized metal box as the Comp Limiter, with top-mounted jacks1. Guitar.com describes white plastic dials2.
"Parallel processing takes a heavily compressed signal and allows you to add a clean (Dry) signal on top giving your guitar three-dimensionality and allowing the guitar to cut through the mix"
The Carl Martin Honey Comp is available now. MusicRadar gives the price as $199, and Guitar.com gives $199 USD12.
