Chase Bliss has introduced the Brothers AM, a dual-channel overdrive pedal made in collaboration with Mike Piera of Analog Man and based on the King of Tone circuit. The pedal is listed at $399.00 and ships in 1 to 3 business days, according to Chase Bliss1. Delicious Audio reported the release on June 15, 20262.
Chase Bliss describes the pedal as "a tribute to the legendary King of Tone overdrive" and says it has two identical, multi-mode gain channels that can be stacked, combined and switched, with each channel set to boost, overdrive or distortion1. Delicious Audio reports that two 3-way toggle switches select the mode per channel, a feature it says is available via internal switches on the King of Tone2. The pedal also includes a bonus treble booster circuit inspired by the Analog Man Beano Boost, which Chase Bliss says allows three circuits to be stacked at once1.
Chase Bliss says the modes, hidden settings and preset options from the King of Tone are available as adjustable controls that can be changed on the fly, and that the second volume knob can be turned into a master volume or the presence and tone controls linked1. Delicious Audio reports 16 DIP switches on the back panel2.
"Brothers AM features advanced connectivity and customization options including MIDI control over every parameter, 4 internal presets, and CV or Expression control over every knob."
