Collision Devices has released the first three pedals in its Snack Series, the Fuzz, Pitcher and Delay, Pedal of the Day reported on April 14, 2026. The outlet described the Collision Devices line as designed to be "fun and useful, while also being accessible and extremely pedalboard-friendly"1.
The Snack Series Fuzz is a distortion and fuzz pedal with three modes. Soft mode is described as analog style saturation with a filter, with a slight flutter that can be added on top. Mid mode provides dephased parallel fuzzes with control over the phase of both. Hard mode is an aggressive fuzz with a filter, which the outlet called "a gated chainsaw"1.
The Snack Series Pitcher is a pitch shifting pedal with three modes. Oct mode is a +1/-1 octaver with a filter and envelope control. Shift mode covers -4 octaves to +3 octaves, with an LFO and expression pedal input for whammy-style moves. Arp mode is a pitch sequencer that builds patterns from the pitch shifting and rate of the player's choice1.
The Snack Series Delay has three modes. Tape mode is an analog style tape delay with modulation. Crush combines a digital delay with a sample rate reducer and a sequencer. Glitch mode is a glitchy delay with pitch shifting in its feedback loop1.
"All three of these pedals sound amazing on their own, but the sound grows even bigger and more experimental when you combine them."
Pedal of the Day directed readers to the Collision Devices website for information and ordering1. No US prices for the three pedals were given in the report.
