The Coppersound Foxcatcher V2 is an update to the company's Bluesbreaker-style overdrive pedal, CopperSound says. The maker's product page lists it at $249.00 and states, "Unfortunately this is sold out," with an email signup for restock notices¹. Guitar Pedal X reported on Oct. 13, 2025 that the pedal was on pre-order at a launch price of $229, down from $249, with shipping to begin at the end of that month². The Delicious Audio item on the V2 is dated Dec. 5, 2025³.

CopperSound describes the circuit as "Rooted in the celebrated Bluesbreaker circuit"¹. The gain switch offers Low, Medium and High modes; the maker says Low delivers the character of the original Bluesbreaker circuit, Medium adds saturation, and High provides more gain than any previous Foxcatcher¹. A three-way Shape switch controls bass content in the overdriven signal, and the Tone knob has a wider sweep with high-pass filtering¹. Guitar Pedal X lists the controls as Gain (Structure): High / Medium / Low, Drive, Shape (Bass): Some / Least / Most, Volume and Tone, and notes the V2 drops the V1's Boost and Nature controls².

The V2 uses what CopperSound calls SMART Bypass, a relay-based true bypass with latching and momentary operation, a fail-safe that reverts to bypass if power is lost, and an internal dip switch that sets the power-up state for use with loopers and switchers¹.

Delicious Audio's item attributes the pedal to "Wampler Pedals" and calls it "an evolution of their very well-regarded Bluesbreaker-style circuit"³; the product page it links to is CopperSound's¹. The same article recounts that the original Foxcatcher, a 2-in-1 overdrive and boost, received a Premier Gear award from Premier Guitar in 2017³.
