Cosmodio Instruments is offering a modification service for the JHS Notadümblë DIY pedal kit, adding independent switching and the ability to run its two channels together, Pedal of the Day reported on July 12, 2025.

The JHS Notadümblë is a two-channel DIY kit, and in its stock form only one channel can be switched on at a time1. The Cosmodio mod gives each channel a dedicated true-bypass stomp switch and allows both channels to be activated and stacked in series1. A FLOW switch sets the stacking order, described as clean into overdrive or overdrive into clean1. Pedal of the Day states that JHS's Dumble-inspired audio circuits are "completely intact and unmodified"1.

JHS ships the kit with a presence control for the overdrive channel, mounted inside the pedal as a trim pot adjusted with a screwdriver1. The Deluxe version of the mod moves this control to a potentiometer with a knob on the faceplate, in the position of the stock channel switch; Pedal of the Day reports this does not change the pedal's sound capabilities but makes presence easier to adjust1.

Guitar Pedal X lists the Standard mod at +$109 and the Deluxe at +$139, with presence on the Deluxe2. The same report describes the mod as moving the two-way toggle to a second footswitch and adding stacking in both directions2. Pedal of the Day directs buyers to the Cosmodio Instruments website and its wait list, noting the mod "has become extremely popular"1. Guitar Pedal X, writing on August 11, 2025, reported that Cosmodio had "paused their waitlist for a period"2.
