Crazy Tube Circuits releases White Whale Jr tremolo and spring reverb pedal

June 30, 2026 · 2 sources

Crazy Tube Circuits released the White Whale Jr, an all-analog tremolo and spring reverb pedal, on June 30, 2026, according to Guitar Pedal X¹. The Athens, Greece maker designed it to shrink the White Whale V2 Tremo-Verb into a smaller, pedalboard-friendly unit¹.

The reverb side uses a three-spring reverb tank assembly driven by a dedicated power amp, with analog emulation of tube power amp and output transformer saturation on the driver circuit¹. The tremolo is a hybrid of optical and tube bias styles¹. Guitar Pedal X quotes the maker on how the Junior differs from the V2: "The Reverb side on the Junior has the long decay setting but with the EQ of the medium decay setting from the V2. And the Tremolo side is a cross-mix / hybrid of optical and tube bias styles."¹

The reverb section has Volume, Dwell, Wet Mix and Tone controls; the tremolo section has Volume, Speed and Intensity¹. Each section has its own footswitch, with click-less relay-based true bypass switching for both, plus a power-up bypass preset function and top-mounted jacks¹. Delicious Audio reports that the tremolo sits after the reverb in the signal path, as on brownface and blackface Fender amplifiers².

Specifications per Guitar Pedal X¹.

The US list price is $359¹. It is available from the Crazy Tube Circuits webstore and international dealers¹. Delicious Audio describes it as "the smallest fully analog real spring reverb"², and Guitar Pedal X calls it "the smallest fully analog real spring reverb" in its category coverage¹.
