DPE Pedals has announced the DC-30 EF86 Tube Preamp, a handwired tube preamp pedal, Delicious Audio reported on July 24, 2025¹. The report describes it as an homage to handwired EF86 tube preamps of the early 1990s¹.

The pedal runs an EF86 (6267) pentode at high voltage, which the report says gives glassy cleans at lower gain and articulate crunch when driven¹. It uses a two-stage switchable design to move between clean and dirty modes, each with independent Gain and Volume controls¹. A 4-way Depth rotary adjusts low-end response, a Cut switch trims high frequencies, and a Pre-gain Tone control handles midrange shaping¹. Each unit is handwired and tested¹.

Delicious Audio describes the circuit as suited to jangle-prone cleans and dynamic mid-gain grit, and says it is aimed at players seeking "vox-like chime or British-voiced drive"¹. No price or ship date was given in the announcement¹.

A separate write-up on Pedal of the Day, dated August 24, 2025, describes the same controls: a two-stage switchable design with clean and dirty channels, independent Gain and Volume settings, and a 4-position Depth rotary switch for low end². That review calls the pedal "one of the baddest preamps I've played"².
