The Dunlop Cry Baby DareDevil Fuzz Wah was reported by Delicious Audio on October 30, 2023. It is a collaboration between Dunlop and Daredevil Pedals proprietor and builder Johnny Wator, who Delicious Audio describes as owner and designer of Daredevil Pedals and frontman of Chicago's The Evictions¹.

According to Dunlop, the pedal combines "the bright, aggressive vocality of a modded Cry Baby Wah with a custom fuzz circuit that's downright gnarly"². The maker says Wator fine-tuned the circuit over several years, building them for friends and bandmates, before bringing it to Dunlop for consideration as a new addition to the lineup²³¹.

The only external control is a heavy-duty baseball bat switch to toggle the fuzz on and off, per Dunlop². Removing the bottom plate reveals two more controls: one to set the pedal's output when the fuzz is engaged and another to dial in the amount of fuzz²¹. Delicious Audio reports that, according to the manufacturer, moving both trim pots to the maximum position gets a lead tone¹. Premier Guitar's John Bohlinger, in a May 1, 2023 first-look video, said the fuzz requires the wah to be engaged⁴.

Dunlop says each one is hand built with thru-hole components and true bypass switching, in a housing with a vintage crinkle finish base, a polished aluminum rocker top and a custom design tread². It runs on one 9-volt battery, accessed via the underside, or the Dunlop ECB003 adapter and the DC Brick, Iso-Brick and Mini Iso-Brick supplies². RockBoard's PedalPedia lists the circuit as analog, 9V DC center negative, at 1mA³.

Dunlop's product page lists the DD95FW at $315.99². Bohlinger's video gives a price of $229⁴; the two figures differ and the sources do not reconcile them.
