The Endorphin.es Ghost Pedal, developed in collaboration with producer and YouTuber Andrew Huang, is available now, according to a report dated 13 April 20231. Endorphin.es, described as a Barcelona-based company, had said both the Ghost Pedal and the Golden Master Pedal were scheduled to ship that autumn and would be shown at Superbooth 23 in Berlin between 11 and 13 May2.
The Ghost Pedal is a multi-effects unit combining distortion, reverb, delay, filtering and LFO control, all of which can be combined and implemented using presets and MIDI control, with or without an expression pedal2. It has line and JFET guitar inputs with cabinet simulation, a reverb with freeze option, a delay looper, a comb filter with resonator, and a spring mode with virtual spring excitement1. It can also be used as a DI box, is MIDI controllable, and allows an expression pedal to be assigned to parameters1. Endorphin.es says users can change the tonal response or signal chain routing of any signal, from an overdriven electric guitar to a droning synth voice, at the press of a button2.
The US list price is $328.001. The report describes the pedal as relaxing the cramped feel of the Eurorack module and laying its controls out more logically1.
"From earth-shaking subharmonics and distorted drones to angelic shimmering reverbs and anything in between, Ghost is a pedal for the adventurous sound designers and the most demanding guitar and synth players."
The same announcement covered the Golden Master Pedal, based on the Golden Master Eurorack module: a multiband compressor with EQ, mid-side processing and stereo enhancement, with stereo in and out, an expression pedal input, a compression knob per band and a global threshold1. Premier Guitar gives its specifications as 24 bit / 96 kHz I/O, three-band equalization and direct and mid-side compression options, with two foot switches for cycling presets or bypass and a one-knob compressor control2. Its US list price is $345.001. Both pedals were listed as available now1.
