Eventide announced the H90 Harmonizer on November 9, 2022, a successor to its H9 multi-effects pedal¹. The pedal carries 62 effect algorithms, including 10 new ones, and is available now at $899¹²³.

The 10 new algorithms are Polyphony, Prism Shift, Bouquet Delay, Head Space, Weedwacker, Even-vibe, Wormhole, Instant Flanger, Instant Phaser and SP2016 Reverb¹. Guitar Player describes Polyphony as a pitch shifter that uses SIFT technology, Prism Shift as generating three voices from a single chord across four arpeggio types spanning up to three octaves, and Weedwacker as a two-stage serial overdrive reminiscent of a famous green pedal². The Instant Phaser is described as an emulation of the world's first studio phaser from 1971, as used on Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir"². The existing 52 H9 effects have been enriched with features previously only available on Eventide's dot9 pedals and plug-ins²⁴.

The H90 runs two effects simultaneously per program, routed in series or parallel, with true spillover between programs¹. It uses ARM-based architecture, which Eventide says derives from its flagship H9000 Harmonizer, and SIFT (spectral instantaneous frequency tracking) technology for low-latency polyphonic pitch shifting¹². It handles instrument and line-level signals, and connections include a stereo/dual-mono insert, two expression inputs and CV¹. The layout adds a third onboard footswitch and replaces the H9's large center dial with Select and Perform knobs either side of a larger display, plus three context-sensitive knobs¹. H90 Control software for Mac or PC handles deeper editing¹.

Bass Musician Magazine describes 10 new algorithms, with six additional H90-exclusive ones and three from the rackmount processors³.
