Fender announced the Waylon Jennings Phaser on August 30, 2023, an analog phaser pedal made in collaboration with Jennings, according to Delicious Audio¹. Gearnews reported the same date and described it as an all-analog pedal with vintage phaser tones².

The pedal is based on Fender's original four-stage phaser circuit from the 1970s¹². A three-position toggle on the front panel switches between two, four and six stages of phasing¹². Delicious Audio called the six-stage setting an extra voicing¹; Gearnews described the three settings as distinct styles of phasing².

Controls are Range, Rate and Feedback knobs¹². Gearnews said Range adjusts the frequency range of the effect, Rate controls the speed and Feedback determines the overall intensity². A Sweet switch locks the tone into what Delicious Audio called the phaser's sweet spot and turns the Feedback knob into a blend control¹; Gearnews described the switch as jumping to the "sweet spot" of phaser tones².

The pedal has top-mounted input and output jacks and true-bypass switching¹². Delicious Audio listed a heavy-duty metal chassis and 1970s-inspired Fender aesthetics¹; Gearnews described a compact aluminum pedal². Gearnews gave a US MSRP of $129.99². Neither source gave an on-sale date.

Delicious Audio framed the release as Fender turning toward country players after a Kevin Shields signature fuzz, and said Jennings was known for pronounced use of the phaser¹. Gearnews said Jennings was known for a signature sweeping phase-shifting effect².
