The FruitFX x Jordan.wav Frog Pedal is available now, Guitar World reported on February 6, 2026. FruitFX made the pedal in collaboration with Jordan.wav, a guitarist and content creator¹.

Under its cartoonish casing the pedal is a monophonic octave-down unit that, in Guitar World's description, "produces the sound of a frog singing straight through your instrument"¹. It has two controls, Volume and Frog, plus a mini-switch that selects a one- or two-octave drop, a feature Guitar World says was made with bassists and guitarists in mind¹. Pedal of the Day describes the circuit as analog rather than digital, and says it plays one note at a time, so single-note lines suit it better than chords². That outlet also notes that some notes may not track perfectly, particularly at the high and low ends of the instrument, and that the pedal responds strongly to picking dynamics².

Jordan.wav said the pedal comes from a design he made in 2020, and that the production version has more controls and a smaller footprint¹. Gearnews dates the original design to 2010 and describes it as having generated significant online buzz³. Guitar World says the pedal works better placed early in a signal chain¹.

Guitar World gives the price as $165¹. Gearnews lists an MSRP of $175³. The two outlets disagree on the figure.
