Greer Amps has detailed the Mizuki Blue, a overdrive pedal built around two JFET gain stages, priced at $1991. Guitar Pedal X reported the pedal on October 14, 2025, noting it was sold out on Greer's webstore and that UK dealer stock was expected on November 212.
Greer describes the circuit as "designed to replicate the feel and dynamics of two cascading tube gain stages," with one stage driving the other1. The maker says JFET transistors "were created to emulate the warm, responsive character of tubes in a solid-state format"1. Guitar Pedal X noted that the pedal's description does not identify which amp or tube variety it is set to replicate2.
Controls are Volume, Gain and Tone2. Greer says the three-knob layout suits "everything from jazz and country to classic and hard rock," and that the pedal stacks with other drives1. Guitar Pedal X read a particular purpose in that stacking, writing that it appears intended "to add saturation and harmonics"2.
| Specification | Detail |
|---|---|
| Power | 9-18 volt neg. center pin or 9V battery1 |
| Current draw | 5mA at 9V1 |
| Enclosure dimensions (in) | 4.39 x 2.34 x 1.061 |
| Price | $1991 |
Greer says the pedal can run at up to 18 volts "for more headroom and output volume"1. The maker also warns that internal trim pots set the JFET bias and "should NOT be adjusted, as doing so will cause the pedal to cease working or function improperly"1.
"Mizuki Blue is a dual-JFET overdrive pedal"
Guitar Pedal X reported the pedal as sold out on Greer's webstore but possibly available from dealers, with Andertons quoting stock due on November 212. The report called $199 Greer's usual price point and described the pedal as typical of the maker's three-knob overdrives2.
