The Ibanez 850 Fuzz Mini is no longer listed on the Ibanez website and is therefore no longer being manufactured, Guitar Pedal X reported on June 21, 2024. The report is the writer's inference from the product's absence from the site; no statement from Ibanez was cited.

"I just found out that this is no longer listed on the Ibanez website - and is therefore no longer being manufactured"

The pedal is a mini version of Ibanez's take on the Triangle Big Muff circuit, which the writer describes as "based on the original Muff circuit - but with a little licence to be slightly different"1. The compendium lists it as a Violet-Ram variety at $891. It carries the three-knob Muff control layout, which the article gives as "Volume / Level | Tone | Sustain / Drive"1.

When Ibanez launched the pedal ahead of the 2017 Winter NAMM show, Gearnews reported it as a shrunk-down version of the 850 Overdrive released the previous year, itself a reissue of a classic fuzz from the company's past2. Gearnews said it would need an external power supply because it is too small to hold a battery, comes in the classic orange color, and has a very simple control layout2. That report said it was made in Japan and would be priced at about 100 Euros2; no US list price appears in either source.

Guitar Pedal X described the 850 as "a really potent mini muff - with some excellent rich muff textures that bely its diminutive format" and said it was "very surprised that it's no longer seemingly in production"1. The same compendium also lists the Mooer Triangle Buff as discontinued, noting it is still listed on Mooer's website but "evidently no longer being made - and already sold out everywhere"1.
