Ibanez has unveiled the TS808HWV2, a hand-wired version of its Tube Screamer overdrive, Guitar World reported on November 1, 20241. The pedal is the successor to the hand-wired TS808HW, which the report describes as the most high-end take on the original TS8081.
The TS808HWV2 keeps the JRC NJM4558 op-amp, which Ibanez describes as "essential" to the Tube Screamer's sound, and adds MOGAMI OFC cables12.
