Mattoverse introduces AirTrash MKII fuzz with clean blend and post-gain
September 9, 2026 · 3 sources

Mattoverse Electronics has released the Mattoverse AirTrash MKII, an updated version of its experimental fuzz, the maker's product page shows. The original AirTrash was released seven years ago, according to Mattoverse1. Delicious Audio reported the update on September 9, 20262; Guitar Pedal X published on it on May 19, 20263.
The maker describes the pedal as "a pedal for guitar, bass, synths and drum machines" and says the core circuit is unchanged apart from tweaks that allow the blend1. The Clean-Blend-Trash knob mixes the processed signal with a clean buffered signal; Mattoverse says the clean path is not fully pristine, with a slight high-end rolloff made to keep the circuit's dynamic behavior1. The post-gain control sits after the blend in the signal chain and raises output volume and gain1. Delicious Audio describes the two additions as "two major functional improvements"2.
"The core AirTrash circuit is the same with some minor tweaks to allow a cleanish blend"
