MOD Kits DIY has unveiled its new bass fuzz pedal kit, The Rock Bottom, the company announced on July 22, 2022¹. The kit is available now for $43.95¹.

The Rock Bottom is a bass fuzz kit that, according to the maker, gives "all of the sizzle you'd expect from a vintage fuzz without sacrificing those low frequencies"². It has a blend pot to set fuzz levels and a volume control². The maker describes its range as covering "the sludgiest bass tones to the cleanest boost and everything in-between"².

MOD Kits DIY rates the build at 3 on its build difficulty scale². The company says its kits use point-to-point wiring and include a pre-drilled enclosure and all necessary parts; builders supply hand tools, a soldering iron and solder¹. The pedal runs on a 9V battery, and a 9-volt adapter can be purchased separately¹. Instructions and a schematic are available as product files².
