Mojo Hand FX announces Rock City dual overdrive

Mojo Hand FX has announced the Rock City, a dual overdrive that the maker describes as an improved version of its discontinued Odessa. Delicious Audio reported the pedal on April 19, 2025¹.

The maker states that the design began as a refinement of the Odessa and grew once series/parallel order switching was added. The right circuit is described as the more dynamic overdrive, sensitive to pick attack, with a Push control that mixes in more clean signal to the left and more gain and low end to the right, plus a 3-position clipping switch. The left circuit is described as a mid-focused drive with a Baxandall tone stack and 3 clipping options².

The pedal has 3 soft-touch footswitches. The left and right switches bypass their respective drive circuits, and the middle switch inverts the on/off status of both circuits. Mojo Hand FX calls this the "Pozze" switching system, designed by former MojoHand alumni Eric Bennetts²¹.

The Rock City is listed at $275.00 with UPC 850039942525². Mojo Hand FX's site shows standard, Platinum Edition and Old English finish variants². The Odessa remains listed at $225.00 and marked out of stock³.
